Neurodiversity
in the Workplace
This session explores neurodiversity and what differences and needs neurodivergent staff might have in the workplace. It examines barriers, reasonable adjustments, culture, and communication, alongside the impact on performance, retention, and wellbeing.
Delivered in several formats from 1 hour lunch and learns, to team discussions, to manager training.
Each year we deliver this session to around 5,000 staff across many industries. We support teams wanting to work better together and managers needing to understand compliance alike.
Delivered by one of our team who is both neurodivergent and manages neurodivergent staff themselves.
We also deliver a version for teams supporting neurodivergent service users.
By completing this CPD session, participants will demonstrate that they can:
Understand what neurodiversity means and what the main neurodivergent conditions are.
Understand neurodivergent differences in communication, processing and sensory experiences.
Recognise the importance of supportive structures at work.
Discuss and apply sector specific actionable reasonable adjustments that benefit a range of minds.
Leave with actions or ideas to put in place to address common issues.

This training provides 2-3 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and is suitable for professionals working in education, health, care, and corporate settings.
