Reasonable Adjustments
in the Workplace
This session explores reasonable adjustments in the workplace and why they are often misunderstood or inconsistently applied. It examines legal context, practical adjustments, and organisational responsibility, alongside the impact on access, wellbeing, and performance.
Delivered by one of our team who is both neurodivergent and disabled.
This is our session designed for neurodivergent staff by neurodivergent staff. We also deliver a version for teams supporting neurodivergent service users and for teams and managers working together.
By completing this CPD session, participants will demonstrate that they can:
Understand what reasonable adjustments are and why they are a legal requirement under equality legislation.
Recognise the difference between equality and equity in workplace practice.
Identify common myths and misconceptions about reasonable adjustments.
Understand employer responsibilities and duties under disability and equality law.
Recognise when a reasonable adjustment may be required, including without formal diagnosis.

This training provides 2-3 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and is suitable for professionals working in education, health, care, and corporate settings.
